Viola in general is a very smart person. She’s more outspoken and motivated then most women of the time period. She disguises herself as a man by cutting her hair and dressing the part. She does this so she wouldn’t be questioned or be restrained from doing anything she needs to do by, “being a woman”. She also does this so she could move around town safely. You can tell Viola is a very good actor as well because she convinces Olivia that she is a man, so well that Olivia claims to have fallen in love with her. This also shows that she has a lot of charm. Viola is generally very well-liked by the people around her.
