She's the Man & Twelfth Night Conflicts

The conflicts in She's the Man also tie into some of the similarities in Twelfth Night. As She's the Man (the movie) progresses Sebastian shows up at Illyria and Olivia kisses him, thinking he was the same person who Viola was the whole time.  Sebastian doesn't understand why Olivia kissed him, but he goes along with it anyways. The next morning, Sebastian is pushed to go to his soccer tournament, which Viola was originally participating in (impersonating  Sebastian). Once again Sebastian goes along with it and plays in the soccer tournament. Viola later shows up and runs into Sebastian, who is extremely confused unitl Viola explains everything to him. In act four scene one of Twelfth Night, a similar plot between Sebastian and Viola plays out. Sebastian says to himself, "what relish is in this? how runs the stream? Or I am mad, or else this is a dream: Let fancy still my sense in Lethe steep; If it be thus to dream, still let me sleep!" This shows that Sebastian was confused on what was going on because he had never met Olivia before. He asks him self, if it is a dream or should he be happy? What had caused this? But nonetheless he is happy about it and in the end, it turns out the two get married.
